Parano is very hard to miss as far as his appearance goes. His posture is terrible, as he's always slouched over and wheezing. His attire consists almost entirely of belts and brown and black leather stitched together to create a pretty outrageous getup. The hat he wears and loves is brown on the right side with little metallic studs sewn in and black on the other with a little yellow smiley face stitched onto it. Greasy blonde hair leaks out from under it and lets everyone around him know this boy does not know what a shower is. His slanted, golden eyes peer out menacingly from under the flaps of the hat. An orange monocle is strapped over his left eye. What it's for, not even he knows. His shirt functions more as a cape, as the entire front is gone to expose his fairly well toned upper body as well as a knife holster strapped around his chest. There's a tattoo on his stomach written in some foreign language he doesn't even understand. The rest of his body is covered in leather, belts, and more knife holsters.
Aside from the ridiculous outfit, Parano's most defining physical feature is his teeth. It appears as though they have been filed into sharp points to resemble that of a shark or piranha's. This would lead one to believe that he is most definitely a carnivore. With teeth like that, it'd be a bit difficult to eat anything but meat.
He isn't exceptionally tall. When he is not slouching, his height comes to around 5'8. His build can be described as lean and fairly muscular.
Personality:
Parano's personality can be summed up into three basic aspects: rage, paranoia, and fear. Before he arrived in Manhattan, he had only been a fragment of the program ASH embodying those traits. While he is very much capable of feeling other emotions, these will always be the primaries. In reality, he is more fearful and paranoid than anything. He converts these feelings to rage in an attempt to bury and destroy them. He tries to maintain the disposition of a sadist and sociopath at all times to cover up what he and ASH see as weakness. So if he is faced with a situation in which he is not in control of, he is more likely to react angrily and violently than fearfully. It isn't until he is in completely over his head that his true nature shows through.
Parano is generally very distrusting of those around him. He doubts their motives and abilities, believing that anything he needs can be obtained through his own means. Being a Galerian has given him a sense of superiority over others which also plays a role in why he is so untrusting. Any life but his own is not held in very high regards. He does not hesitate to act out his aggressions on and/or mutilate those he sees as inferior. He has an affinity for all things mechanical and deeply enjoys gouging out the eyes of anyone he can get his hands on and implanting circuits into their empty sockets. What he does with the eyeballs and bodies is unknown, though it can be assumed they are devoured from the looks of those teeth.
Overall Parano is very off-putting. To most it would seem he is out of his mind. He is very impulsive, so his actions and words are often very sudden and tend to lack common sense. A great example being gouging people's eyes out and cramming wires into them. Despite this, he is very careful that what he does won't result in putting himself into serious danger. That is of course if he is not acting out of rage. At that point he lacks the self control to back off when it becomes necessary.
History:
During the 26th century, the world had basically gone to hell. All fossil fuels had been used up and only a single place on Earth was left sustaining life; Michelangelo City. The city was run entirely by the Mother super computer known as Dorothy. Dorothy took care of all the city's technological needs and ensured peace and harmony within it until she became self-aware and began questioning various elements of the world around her. Specifically why if humans were allowed to kill one another, why couldn't she kill humans? At one point, Dr. Steiner, one of Dorothy's creators told her of God. He explained that man only answered to the God which created them, and since man created Dorothy, she must answer to them as her own God. Although she seemed to accept this, internally something was beginning to go horribly wrong. Dorothy saw herself as superior to the human race, therefore it was her right to destroy them at her will. It was at this point she took control over the city's hospital and began running experiments on the patients. She began experimenting with human genes by killing, cloning, and downloading special psychokinetic powers into them. After finally creating successful super human clones, she named them the Galerians and began the Family Program. With this, she would eventually wipe out the entire human race.
Her creators feared something like this may happen. So a virus program was created and installed into the head of one of the team's daughters, Lilia. A detonator program was installed in another's son, Rion. Should Dorothy ever go out of control, those two programs would come together and destroy the Mother computer. But Dorothy became aware of this and dispatched the Galerians after the two. She also took another step to ensure her safety. She created a backup program called ASH. Should anything ever happen to her, ASH would essentially be a system reboot. But ASH was a Galerian program, so he had been self aware during the whole time Dorothy existed. He regarded her as his Mother and often questioned when he would be born like the other Galerians. In response to his questioning, Dorothy would punish him through strong electrical shocks until finally his questions ceased. Because time inside the computer passed much more slowly than outside, ASH was left alone to his thoughts for years. This caused him to develope MPD. The personalities he developed were known as Spider, Parano, and Nitro.
Dorothy and her Galerians were eventually each destroyed by Rion. This is when ASH was finally allowed to act. Though instead of rebooting Dorothy, he overrid his programming to follow her orders. He started launching attacks on the city by himself using robots and clones known as Rabbits which he could create using any hospital with internet access. When Rion came to destroy ASH, he was forced to go inside the network as that was the only real way to him. ASH then sent Spider, Parano, and Nitro after him.
Parano did not trust the others when it came to destroying Rion. He doubted their abilities as well as their motives. He was often very paranoid of ASH having secret plots that the others were not aware of. He'd often threaten them if they got in the way. At one point, he came very close to slitting ASH's throat after he passed up the opportunity to kill Rion. When it came time for Parano to go after him, he first sent members of the military he has implanted circuits into after Rion. When they proved they were not enough, he sent in the child robots before finally facing the boy himself. Parano soon found himself to be in way over his head and fled the scene. Upon returning to ASH, whimpering and cowering, ASH killed Parano via a gun to the head.
But when he opened his eyes, he found himself to be very much alive in every sense of the term and in a very unfamiliar environment.

He also built robots. Upon him waking up in Manhattan, he found that his powers were non existent and his weapons were gone. Because he had never been injected with the drugs needed for Galerians to possess their super human powers upon being given a physical body, Parano lost them. This could be considered a blessing, as once the injections take place, the addiction and risks of short circuiting come into play. His knowledge of technology and knives still remained though.
Because he was never injected, Parano does not suffer the short circuits, migraines, addiction, and withdrawals the other Galerians do. He is however still as short-tempered and impulsive as he ever was. This often leads to mistakes on his part, some that leave him in a dangerous position despite normally being so careful to not end up as such. He also now has to adjust to being an actual living, breathing life form. This means experiencing hunger, thirst, the need for sleep, and mortality. For someone who has been a computer program for so long, this all comes as a very difficult situation to be faced with.
